“I attended most of these sessions and each session left very positive, soothing and comforting effect on all participants. She is master in ‘Dance Therapy’”
Suresh Kumar, Partner & CIO at Grant Thornton
I first met Ashuma at Samvedna Senior Care, an organization that assists senior citizens age gracefully and provides them support with empathy, affection and patience. Ashuma used to conduct ‘Dance Therapy’ sessions for the elderly and team members of Samvedna. She puts in lot of effort with meticulous planning and great passion in conducting these dance therapy sessions. I attended most of these sessions and each session left very positive, soothing and comforting effect on all participants. She is master in ‘Dance Therapy’ and Iwish her all the best in all her future endeavors!

The 'Free body, Free mind' movement joy shop by Ashuma is a wonderful way to heighten self awareness and relationship with others. It's a refreshing way to get to know others and can be a unique experience for team bonding in organizations. The space is playful and aids creativity.

The 'Free body, Free mind' dance joy shop There is a large amount of freedom of expression , there is no judgment , that’s best thing that can happen , lot of loosening up , as we had forgotten to express ourselves to movement , there was an open environment , everyone was uninhibited , in few hours a large change , a sense of being one , exposing our inner self , so one could feel the bond much deeper as everyone was exposing , you are no longer afraid that someone will judge you.

“Ashuma is a great facilitator...
... make people dance like no one is watching!”
It’s a workshop you need to come with an open mind. In the spirit of the workshop for you to take the most from here. Ashuma is a great facilitator who understands the concept well and be able to help participants create that space for themselves . During all the workshops that I have attended have discovered , and rediscovered myself , have taken a lot back to the real world. All the best to Ashuma for all the great work she is doing to make people dance like no one is watching!

“The combination of activity and reflection was very effective in the learning process”
I had a great experience attending the Dance workshop facilitated by Ashuma at the Zorba - The Buddha Center in Delhi. The workshop used very creative approaches for discovering aspects of oneself through movements, solo dancing, dancing with a partner as well as in group. I found the use of writing a brief log before sharing a very powerful process since it helped one to be centered. Ashuma has a very non-threatening way of facilitation and her inquiry helped me and others to explore a bit deeper. Some of the insights were not new in terms of content, but richer in terms of the level of understanding. The combination of activity and reflection was very effective in the learning process and Ashuma's facilitation of reflections and learning gave a new energy and impetus to the next stage of activity.

“A certain barrier is broken, by expressing through ones body and the outcome is reduced self consciousness and thus the possibility of doing things one has never done before.”
The training fraternity is to find methods to innovate the learning process to provide breakthroughs for learners. Creative Dance is definitely a new discovery that furthers the learning process. I personally observed some participants stumble on that breakthrough. Participants did something that they never thought they could do. A certain barrier is broken, by expressing through ones body and the outcome is reduced self consciousness and thus the possibility of doing things one has never done before. Ashuma, facilitates the process in the most noteworthy way. Her own freedom and confidence paves the way for others to follow. The frustration wall that participants sometimes hit is crucial to 'real learning'. Ashuma, guides the learner through this process gently and firmly. Creative Dance is definitely a method that can aid the learning process, moving the learners towards discovering their creativity and greater confidence.

I’ve known Ashuma for many years. We worked together at Agilent and have stayed in touch since then. Ashuma has many attributes which distinguish her from many others. Professionally, she is highly motivated, skilled and knowledgeable having strong work-ethic. Personally, she’s one of the few who has that magic combination: Talent to spare, professionalism, humility, resilience, love for learning and sharing, and a genuinely caring attitude towards people.
I have recently had the pleasure of attending one of her learning cum healing sessions and once again found her passion and positive energy surrounding everyone to make the experience more impacting and everlasting.
